ARC, EDA announce second year POWER program funding availability
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) have announced that they have nearly $65 million in funding available under the “Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization” (POWER) program. Now in its second year, POWER is designed to invest federal economic and workforce development resources in communities and regions negatively impacted by changes in the coal economy. Unlike many federal programs, there is no application deadline. More details are available here.
