Applications open for Cohort 3 of the “100Knoxville” program for Black-owned businesses
Applications are now being accepted for Cohort 3 of the “100Knoxville” program. Patterned somewhat after Memphis’ 800 Initiative, the goal is to help Black-owned businesses grow their revenue base. Each cohort in the five-week program includes five Black entrepreneurs who receive grants of $5,000 each. That describes the shorthand description of the initiative as the “5x5x5” program.
