Applications now being accepted for State of TN “SBIR/STTR Matching Fund” program

Applications are now being accepted for the “Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Matching Fund” administered by Launch Tennessee for the State of Tennessee.

With a goal of advancing commercialization efforts through matching the successful Phase I and Phase II SBIR/STTR awards of Tennessee-based companies, the program matches Phase I awards up to $100,000 and Phase II awards up to $300,000.

According to the Launch Tennessee website, company eligibility is for SBIR and STTR notices of awards received between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022. The organization also adds that it may also consider awards that fall within 45 days of the eligibility window or applications from previous program years from companies that have never received an SBIR/STTR Matching Fund award and meet all other eligibility requirements subject to the availability of funds.

There are other eligibility criteria, so recipients of SBIR or STTR awards should carefully review the linked document above. Deadline to apply is August 15.
