Portal for next round of ARC POWER applications opens January 13
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) will begin accepting applications for grants under its “Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization” (POWER) Initiative on January 13 with a closing date of March 27.
The POWER Initiative makes federal resources available to help communities and regions that have been affected by job losses in coal mining, coal power plant operations, and coal-related supply chain industries due to the changing economics of America’s energy production.
