Application deadline for “Scots Innovation Challenge” pitch competition is coming-up
February 28 is not that far away, and Maryville College has reminded interested individuals that it is looking for 10 participants to pitch in the finale of its inaugural “Scots Innovation Challenge.” Deadline for submissions is on February 20 for the event where winner captures $1,500.
According to Christy McDonald, the process is as follows:
- Step 1: Attend or review Maryville College workshops here in Customer Discovery, Sales & Marketing, Funding and How to Pitch in 90 Seconds.
- Step 2: Sign up to attend the pitch competition.
- Step 3: Email your pitch in Power Point format with a short paragraph describing the idea to Christy.mcdonald@maryvillecollege.edu by February 20.
Those selected will be invited to a “dress rehearsal” at 4:30 p.m. on February 28 to become familiarized with the stage and also have an opportunity to practice his/her pitch. The competition itself is at 6 p.m.
