Application deadline is June 12 for Biz Foundry’s “Young Entrepreneur Academy”

Biz Foundry AcademyThe Biz Foundry is accepting applications through June 12 for its weeklong summer day camp for college students interested in start-ups and entrepreneurship. The event is called the “Young Entrepreneur Academy” and runs June 24 through 28.

In a recent email, The Biz Foundry posted the following:

“Join us for a five-day boot camp that teaches college-age students how to start their own real business now or in the future. Learn about why businesses succeed or fail, have access to the most innovative business models in today’s economy, and have the opportunity to interact with local entrepreneurs and investors. Students will generate business ideas to create an atmosphere of fun and develop leadership abilities and skills. They will also gain an understanding of entrepreneurship as a viable career option and meet and learn from successful entrepreneurs.”

The Academy runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all participants. There is $100 registration fee. To apply, go to https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6Iof4lr2aatME9EQ1o2Q1RlRk0/edit?pli=1.
