Application deadline is this Friday for “What’s the Big Idea?”
Winner will be eligible for $10,000 prize.
Time is drawing short if you are planning to apply to present your concept for the 2023 edition of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center‘s (KEC) “What’s the Big Idea? Pitch Competition.” Deadline to apply at this link is this Friday, February 3.
Once the deadline passes, the KEC team will invite a handful of applicants to submit a two-minute video. Then, starting February 13, the public will be able to vote on their favorite companies and ideas. The number of public votes a company receives will have an impact on the final teams selected for the official competition.
Finally, after the proverbial 48-hour weekend to further refine the idea with help from mentors and others, the finalists will pitch their ideas on Sunday night, March 5, for a chance to win $10,000 in prize money after completing the KEC-offered CO.STARTERS program.
