Annual “SHYFT Design + Innovation Conference” set for September 27

Techmer PM, which has a major presence in Clinton, has announced details for its annual “SHYFT Design + Innovation Conference” that is moving this year from Chattanooga to Knoxville.

The event, set for 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. September 27 at the Knoxville Museum of Art, is being hosted in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and the Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley. Featured speakers already announced include:

  • Brenna Sniderman, Senior Manager and Subject Matter Expert, Deloitte Insights;
  • Niki Werkheiser, In-Space Manufacturing Project Manager, NASA;
  • Megan Neese Sr. Manager, Future Lab, Renault-Nissan Alliance; and
  • Tim Sylvester, Founder Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Roadways.

“SHYFT 2018” will also have a panel discussion moderated by Jenny Whitener of Bridge Innovate. Panelists include John Manuck from Techmer PM; Richard Clarke, formerly of Nike; Marc Shillum from eBay; and ORNL’s Thomas Zacharia.
