Alan Sims posts update on John Phillips and his Phillips Forged
Alan Sims, aka the Knoxville Urban Guy, recently posted an update on his Inside of Knoxville blog on John Phillips and his Phillips Forged enterprise that makes one-of-a-kind culinary knives from the finest materials in the world. Phillips is truly a craftsman, as we described in this teknovation.biz article after his participation in the 2019 edition of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center‘s “What’s the Big Idea” pitch competition.
A lot has happened in that three-year period as Sims captures in his article that discusses a new location for Phillips Forged that quadruples his space and all of the new hardware that is being installed. We particularly noted this sentence: “Some of the machinery had literally not been developed three years ago.”
