Workshop Content Topics

Topics to prioritize (attendees will rank during sign-up):

  • Personalized Visitor Guide / Lead-Gen Automation: Attendees will learn how to connect a visitor guide request form to an AI workflow that automatically generates a personalized response based on the visitor’s interests. The deliverable is a working prompt and process that takes form inputs, such as travel dates, group type, and activity preferences, and produces a custom itinerary or welcome letter. This output can then be emailed, printed and mailed alongside a physical visitor guide.

  • Social Media Content Creation and Content Calendar Prompts: This session covers how to use AI tools to build a repeatable social media content calendar and generate platform-ready captions, post ideas, and blog frameworks. Attendees will walk away with a set of tested prompts they can plug into their own workflow to produce consistent, on-brand content without simply copying and pasting AI output. The focus is on learning how to prompt effectively so the results require minimal editing and match your organization’s voice.

  • Visitor FAQ Chatbot with a Knowledge Base for Website Implementation: Attendees will use AI to draft a comprehensive FAQ script built from their organization’s existing information (i.e., a knowledge base, hours, directions, event details, policies, and common visitor questions). The deliverable is a structured, ready-to-implement FAQ document and chatbot knowledge base that can be handed off to a web developer or plugged into a chatbot platform. Attendees will also learn how to quickly update and maintain the knowledge base as information changes.

  • Using AI for Research and High-Quality Writing: AI can dramatically accelerate research and first-draft writing, but the output is only as good as the direction you provide. This session teaches attendees how to use AI as a research assistant to gather background information, summarize data, identify trends, and then turn that research into polished written content such as blog posts, grant narratives, or visitor-facing copy. Attendees will practice prompting techniques that produce results worth editing rather than rewriting from scratch.

  • AI Policies, Team Usage and Setting Standards: As AI tools become part of everyday operations, organizations need clear guidelines for how and when to use them. This session covers how to establish acceptable-use policies for your team, set quality standards for AI-assisted work, and train staff to spot AI-generated content including fake news stories, fabricated social media accounts, and misleading information. Attendees will leave with a framework they can adapt into an internal AI usage policy for their organization.

  • Building Websites with AI: New AI-powered tools now make it possible to build and update simple websites, landing pages, and event pages without traditional coding skills. This session introduces attendees to the concept of “vibe coding,” where you describe what you want in plain language and let AI generate the structure and content. Attendees will see a live demo of building a functional page from scratch and will learn which free and low-cost tools are available to get started on their own.
