The speakers are in | Three days to register for Knoxville’s ‘More Signal, Less Noise’ AI Summit
If you've been on the fence about attending the "More Signal, Less Noise" AI Summit on April 23, the newly released speaker lineup might be the nudge you needed.
The AI Summit hosted by Marcus Blair, founder of Omega Business Solutions, and emceed by Chris McAdoo, founder of Fighting Shape Impact Company, will take place at the Square Room. Doors open at 1 p.m., with programming running through 6 p.m. and a happy hour to follow.
The premise is simple: skip the business buzzwords, skip the vendor pitches and skip worrying about if you look the part. Instead, come as you are and hear directly from the people inside organizations who are figuring out what actually is working and what isn’t in the AI world.
When Teknovation chatted with the organizers last month, it was clear that they want this event to truly be and feel real. The expertise and personality encompassed by the speaker lineup and programming supports this.
The lineup
McAdoo will be opening things up with an original keynote centered around Charlie Munger’s famous quote, “Show me the incentive and I will show you the outcome.”
Then, business operators will share their real use cases for AI. The panel includes:
- Matthew Park, director of IT and customer experience at Cirrus Aircraft
- Jared Meredith, senior director of engineering and architecture at Red Stag Fulfillment
- Barbara Wing, internal audit director of business process at Clayton Homes
- Olivia McGhee, general manager, Ancient Lore Village
Next, speakers will dive into the future of intellectual property, privacy and security in the age of AI. The legal panel includes:
- Haseeb Qureshi, attorney and founder at Forthlaw
- Rhett Sexton, patent attorney, Merchant & Gould P.C.
- Jennifer Pearson Taylor, partner at Woolf, McClane, Bright, Allen & Carpenter, PLLC
- Alex Nicoll, general counsel
To close out the summit, Blair will offer his predictions on where businesses and AI go from here. Plus, there might be a surprise appearance from K Brew’s own Pierce LaMacchia.

The event is intentionally capped in size to keep the room conversational. Now is the time to claim your seat!
General admission tickets are $30 and include the full afternoon program plus the post-event happy hour. A portion of proceeds will benefit Harbour’s Gate, a Knoxville-based nonprofit.
