Tenth Anniversary Maker City Summit Rescheduled
The annual Maker City Summit in Knoxville, a cornerstone event for artisans, creatives, and entrepreneurs across the Southeast, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a fresh, flexible approach.
Though winter weather necessitated a shift in the original programming, makers know how to adapt. The rescheduled Maker City Summit, hosted by The Maker City, now features a dynamic six-session lineup designed to fit your schedule with hybrid options.
The Summit kicks off Monday, February 23, with a virtual session by Sarah Sewell on building artisan brands online. This leads into a full day of in-person learning on Tuesday, February 24, where sessions range from Halee Sprinkle’s talk on digital boundaries to evening workshops on business structures and licensing.
On February 25, James Victore leads a virtual deep dive into idea generation, followed by a session on visual storytelling with Debbie Millman on March 2.
The Summit concludes with a forward-looking focus on technology. Melissa Centers discusses the intersection of AI and intellectual property on March 3, and Marcus Blair wraps up the event in-person on March 4 with a guide to data-driven decision-making.
