Vngle has two missions to serve
It is both a civic insights company and a pioneering force redefining how institutions and leaders access verified, real-time information.
Blake Stoner describes Atlanta, GA-based Vngle, short for “various angles,” as both a civic insights company and a pioneering force redefining how institutions and leaders access verified, real-time information.
It’s a journey he began incubating nine years ago with bold ambitions, never imagining it would take nearly a decade to bring his vision to life.
Stoner’s background is deeply rooted in media and grassroots organizing. For 13 years, he served as a campaign strategist and communications consultant on dozens of civic campaigns that helped elect and re-elect candidates. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Morehouse College, M.S. in Strategic Communication from Columbia University, and is an alum of the Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership at the CUNY Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
Stoner describes Vngle as “delivering field-verified civic insights that help institutions eliminate regional blind spots and make better decisions. Powered by patented mobile forensics technology, artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced analysis, and a community-powered creator model, our system ensures authenticity, speed, and actionability, closing the gap between what’s happening and what’s understood for leaders across critical sectors.”
He notes that Vngle was built to address a growing challenge: in today’s fragmented information landscape, now proliferated by synthetic, AI-generated content, it’s increasingly difficult to know what’s real or true. “Because of the decline of traditional reporting, we have to create new ways to help community-focused leaders keep a pulse on how to best serve communities,” Stoner adds.
Vngle’s team delivers grassroots-level insights through CivicWire, the company’s breakthrough real-time civic insight engine that transforms ground-level perspectives into verified, decision-ready intelligence. “Whether you’re leading a city, covering a story, or conducting research, CivicWire helps you act faster, with more trust, and less noise,” Stoner says.
By combining technological innovation with trusted local reporting networks, Vngle is positioning itself at the forefront of a new civic information infrastructure, one designed to rebuild trust, transparency, and connection in public life. The company plays a critical role at a time when traditional newsrooms continue to shrink and televised coverage often misses hard-hitting local issues.
Stoner also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Heart of South Downtown (HoSD), helping steward the revitalization of South Downtown Atlanta into what is poised to become America’s largest innovation district.
As for Vngle, he has self-funded the operation alongside grant funding, a testament to his long-term vision and commitment to building next-generation civic technology.
