490 BioTech journey detailed in new video produced by PYA
The winner of last year’s “Startup Day” pitch competition, as evaluated by the judges, was 490 BioTech which also was named earlier this year as the inaugural winner of the “PYA Ballard Innovation Award.”
The recognition from PYA, the power behind teknovation.biz, came with a cash prize of $10,000 and mix of services valued at $40,000 that would be provided by the professional services firm. 490 BioTech’s top priorities were two videos that would tell the story of its long journey that people had described as “impossible” scientifically and a second one that would be more technical in nature to introduce the company to prospective customers.
The first of those videos, produced entirely by PYA’s internal video team that is part of its marketing group, was unveiled yesterday during this year’s “Startup Day.” Dan Close, 490 BioTech’s Chief Scientific Officer, tells the start-up’s story in a very compelling way.
