Session topics announced for next week’s SBA national virtual summit

The U.S. Small Business Administration has released more details about next week’s three-day virtual summit as part of its National Small Business Week celebration.

Programming is planned for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT on September 13, 14 and 15.

The theme for the first day is “Getting Back on Track: Resources to Build Back Better.” Sessions are planned on: (1) “Visa US Economic Outlook:  Charting a Course for the Expansion”; (2) “Getting Real about Resilience”; (3) “Make Your Small Business More Accessible”; (4) “Winning in E-commerce with Email Marketing”; and (5) “Government Incentives to Support and Retain Employees.”

On September 14, the theme is “Better Serving Small Businesses and Underserved Communities” with sessions planned on: (1) “Access to Capital for Women Entrepreneurs”; (2) “U.S. Postal Service: Delivering Solutions for Small Businesses”; (3) “Unlocking the Doors to Access for Black-Owned Businesses:  Funders and Founders Share their Real-Life Stories”; (4) “Resilience and the Recovery: How Small Businesses Can Adapt to the Trends Transforming the Workforce”; and (5) “Support Latino Biz: How Mayors and influencers are leading the way to celebrate the significant economic contributions that Latino-owned businesses make, the jobs they help create, and the positive impact they bring to our community.”

The theme for the final day is “Continuance to Support Resilience and Renewal” with sessions on: (1) “Recovery Lessons from the Nation’s Entrepreneurial Coaching Networks”; (2) “Exporting as a Way to Grow Your Business: How SBA Can Help You Sell Overseas”; (3) “Accelerate Your Small Business Success by Selling Online”; (4) “Integrating Brick and Mortar and eCommerce”; (5) “Empowering the Veteran and Military Small Business Community”; and (6) a closing session titled “Gateway to Success.”
