More than $1 million in investment capital on the line in this student pitch competition

There’s serious money on the line in this student pitch competition that is scheduled for tomorrow. It’s the 25th annual “Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge” hosted by the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

How much is at stake? According to this article, the 12 finalist teams will present their business plans to a panel of judges and investors for a chance to share an investment pool that is at least $1 million, on track to be the largest in the contest’s history.
