Apple bringing thousands of jobs to North Carolina with an average salary of $187,000
Sometimes it seems that the rich just get richer.
Apple announced yesterday that it will build a new technology campus and create thousands of jobs in an agreement reached with the state of North Carolina. In an agreement with the state’s Economic Investment Committee, the company was awarded a tax incentives package that adds up to more than $845 million over 39 years.
Apple in turn has committed to an average salary of at least $133,520 to start, growing to an average of about $187,000. The campus will be constructed in Wake County.
