Finals today and tomorrow for applicants for Cohort 5 of “Innovation Crossroads”
It started with 83 applicants from 29 states, and now it is down to 19 finalists who will be pitching their start-ups today and tomorrow to the Leadership Council for Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s “Innovation Crossroads” program.
The goal of those presenting is simple: to be selected to participate in Cohort 5 of the tw0-year program that helps them make significant technological and business strides for their start-ups.
The 19 were selected from a semi-final round of 26 applicants that were invited to pitch in January after their companies went through an in-depth technical review of their technologies and business plans conducted by a team of researchers and business subject matter experts.
