KY Innovation, the component of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development focused on start-ups and small businesses, has outlined its 2021 priorities.
According to this report, they include:
- Improving accessibility and bringing together statewide resources;
- Implementing metrics, quarterly surveys for feedback and quarterly community reporting;
- Enhancing efforts focused on diversity and better serving underrepresented communities;
- Identifying key clusters in the Commonwealth and better serving them;
- Increasing investment dollars through efforts such as bringing more grant dollars into the Commonwealth and establishing a Council of Advisors for those activities; and
- Becoming engaged in talent innovation and attraction.
