Webinar on doing business with the government scheduled next month
The Procurement Technical Assistance Program, part of the University of Tennessee’s Center for Industrial Services, will hold a nearly one-half day webinar on government contracting next month.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. EST on December 9. Titled “Manufacturers and Distributors Conference: Doing Business With the Government,” the webinar will cover:
- The basics of government contracting;
- Cybersecurity compliance;
- Working with large prime contractors like Boeing and BAE Systems Inc. and federal entities like the Defense Logistics Agency; and
- Quality standards.
