Crunchbase examines COVID-19’s impact on venture capital
Crunchbase’s latest report is titled “The State of Global Venture Funding During COVID-19.” Among the key findings of the half-year report are these: (1) venture funding is down six percent across the world, but would be down 17 percent if an investment in an India enterprise was excluded; (2) the U.S. secured nearly one-half of all investment capital in the first six months of 2020; and (3) Massachusetts is not only a “hot spot” in the U.S., but also in terms of global investments.
