John McMillian announces equity crowdfunding campaign for Defiant EV3 Roadster
We noted in July 2019 that John McMillian of Shockwave Motors Inc. in Russellville, TN was exploring an equity crowdfunding option to find the capital he needs to go into full production of the Defiant EV3 Roadster. On Friday, he formally announced that the start-up had officially launched the campaign that runs through February 25.
We first spotlighted McMillian’s efforts to develop the all-electric roadster nearly five years ago when he was a finalist in the business plan competition organized by the Tennessee Veterans Business Association.
