Raleigh company launches virtual, mobile clinical platform
A global contract research organization with headquarters in Raleigh has developed what it describes as the “first-ever completely virtual” clinical trial for drug indication. In fact, PRA Health Sciences announced that Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson is using the mobile clinical platform to launch a clinical trial assessing the effectiveness of of INVOKANA® (canagliflozin) in adults with heart failure with or without type 2 diabetes.
