Fiveworx makes finals of “Cleantech Open”
Knoxville-based start-up Fiveworx, the only competitor from Tennessee, has made the finals for the “Cleantech Open 2013 Global Forum.”
Billed as the “Academy Awards of Cleantech,” the two-day event links domestic and international entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners, business leaders, and the cleantech community. Fiveworx will join 21 other companies selected from regional competitions in the U.S. as well as international events. The grand prize is $200,000 and the title of “2013 Top Cleantech Entrepreneur.”

The Cleantech Open runs the world’s largest cleantech accelerator. It has an alumni base of 700 that have raised more than $800 million in external capital.
