The early bird catches a discount

Launch Tennessee puts "3686 Festival" tickets on sale at a discounted price through June 15.

Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) has announced “early bird” tickets are on sale through June 15 for the 10th anniversary edition of its “3686 Festival.”

The event began under a different name – “Southland” – before it was rebranded as “3686” in 2015. The numbers refer to the latitude and longitude of Music City where the annual celebration of entrepreneurship has been held, regardless of the name. This year’s festival, which has fresh branding, will be held at Nashville’s iconic Wildhorse Saloon on September 19, 20, and 21. That’s a week after “Innov865 Week” in Knoxville. In addition, the first day of the “3686 Festival” begins on the last day of the annual “Governor’s Conference on Economic and Community Development” scheduled in Chattanooga.

For the 10th anniversary, LaunchTN will bring back past successful components, including:

  • Fireside chats and panel discussions with top entrepreneurial leaders;
  • Industry-specific programming;
  • One-on-one meetings between entrepreneurs and investors; and
  • A pitch competition.

“Although the names have changed, the mission to create valuable connections through our annual entrepreneurship festival has remained consistent,” said LaunchTN Chief Executive Officer Lindsey Cox. “The milestone also represents 10 years of work LaunchTN has done to build the state’s innovation economy.”

Ticket prices through June 15 are $199 for regular attendees and $399 for investors plus a processing fee.
