Bronze Valley, gener8tor expand partnership with third program
Alabama Inno reports that Birmingham-based Bronze Valley is expanding its partnership with accelerator manager and investment firm gener8tor.
The two organizations first teamed-up two years ago on the “Bronze Valley gBETA Accelerator” focused on offering three programs a year for a total of 15 early stage companies founded by underrepresented individuals. They also collaborated on a second initiative named the “gALPHA Accelerator” that is described as a non-equity entrepreneurship program for students affiliated with Alabama historically Black colleges and universities. Over the last two years, the Bronze Valley Accelerator has supported 20 companies across four cohorts that have collectively raised over $8 million in venture capital following the program.
The third collaboration is something called the “Bronze Valley Investment Accelerator” which will select five companies annually, and each company will receive a $100,000 investment from Bronze Valley.
