“Forbes Next 1000 (virtual) Summit” set for Friday

Forbes is holding its “Next 1000 Summit” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST Friday where it will convene small-business leaders who are redefining the American dream and creating their own unique paths to success.

The virtual event will provide entrepreneurs with resources and tools to help them navigate the current financial environment and propel their businesses forward. It also complements the “Forbes Next 1000″ list with the fourth and final installment being announced before the end of the year. The list spotlights rising entrepreneurs and resilient small business leaders who are forging the path forward to redefine the American dream.

As noted in past posts on teknovation.biz, 12 Tennesseans, including three with East Tennessee addresses, have been named thus far. They include Erica Grant of Knoxville, Founder of Quantum Lock Technologies LLC, and Leila Safavi-Tehrani, Co-Founder of Purist, both participants in the “Innovation Crossroads” program operated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and two Chattanoogans – Matt Schroeder, Co-Founder of Shelly Cove LLC, and Felicia Jackson, Founder of CPR Wrap Inc.
