Kingsport’s new Inventor Center holding three-day open house

The new Inventor Center in Kingsport is having its grand opening starting tomorrow through Sunday. It is described as “a hub for blending of 21st century modern tools, traditional arts and cutting edge entrepreneurial resources.”

According to a recent Facebook post, festivities include a ribbon cutting on Friday; classes, demonstrations and other activities led by makers on Saturday; and an open house Sunday. Starting times are 10 a.m. the first two days and 1 p.m. on Sunday. The location is 118 Shelby Street in Kingsport.
