Next “Rise of the Rest Road Trip” includes two stops in Tennessee out of five

Rise of the Rest FundTwo Tennessee cities are among five selected for the next “Rise of the Rest Road Trip” planned by Steve Case.

The Founder of AOL was in Nashville last year as one of the featured speaker’s at Launch Tennessee’s “36|86 Conference.” You can read his thoughts in this teknovation.biz post.

“We’re thrilled to have this national spotlight on Tennessee and all the incredible work our entrepreneurs are doing,” Charlie Brock, President and Chief Executive Officer of Launch Tennessee, said. Case previously visited Nashville in 2014 (see this post) on an earlier tour, and ROTR 7.0, as it is being billed, marks the first time Case has visited two cities on a single tour.

“With three cities recognized for their start-up ecosystems, we believe we’re closer to achieving our vision of making Tennessee the most startup-friendly state in the country,” Brock added.

Case will be in Memphis May 8 and Chattanooga May 10. Other stops on this tour are Birmingham, Dallas, and Louisville. Click here for  more information including a link to registration for each stop.
