TSI releases report on solar industry
The Tennessee Solar Institute (TSI) was a major clean energy initiative launched by former Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, and the University of Tennessee has played a major role in helping launch and lead the effort. TSI released a study in December that highlighted the state’s growing solar value chain as one of the bright spots in Tennessee’s economy, but warns that Tennessee must remain diligent to avoid losing solar-related jobs and business opportunities to neighboring states.
