Seven of 10 newest “Alabama Launchpad” participants hail from North Alabama
North Alabama reported some pretty impressive numbers this week when the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama announced the 10 companies that are participating in the latest edition of the “Alabama Launchpad” competition. Four of the start-ups are from Huntsville, two hail from Florence, and one is from Madison. Two of the seven – Ark Labs of Florence and BDI Laboratories of Huntsville – participated in the recently concluded “GIGTANK” accelerator program in Chattanooga (Startup Team Bios_GIGTANK 2015).
