VC OUTLOOK: 2015 could be one of most interesting ever
Our third annual series on investment capital starts tomorrow. We have a total of seven angel or venture investors – all residents of East Tennessee – sharing their perspectives on 2014 and outlook for 2015.
Ahead of tomorrow’s first article in the series, we thought this post from TechCrunch offered some interesting insights. Here’s an example: “2015 is shaping up to be one of the most interesting years for venture capital ever.”
We also found this assessment from a Silicon Valley-based consultant was a good set-up for the series that begins tomorrow.
Finally, we also noted a report this week that venture capital firms raised $32.97 billion in 2014, a 62% increase over the previous year and the highest level since 2007.
