“Tennessee Venture Challenge” kicks-off later today
The University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF) kicks-off its “Tennessee Venture Challenge” (TVC) with a session at 4 p.m. today. The new business plan competition is open to any start-up company engaged in commercializing intellectual property created at UT.
Seven entrepreneurial workshops explaining the basics of how to start a company are scheduled between now and the final competition on April 3 when participants will pitch their business ideas to a panel of venture investors to win a share of the $25,000 cash prize.
