Survature announces “soft launch” of its AnswerCloud product
During the recent “Gig Tank Demo Day” in Chattanooga, we connected with Jian Huang, one of the founders and Chief Executive Officer of Knoxville-based Survature.
Our natural question was about the reason he and one of his colleagues, Steve Chin, Senior Vice President for Product Development, were attending the event. The answer was indicative of the continuing evolution of the six-month old start-up.
Survature is using AnswerCloudtm, its proprietary survey tool, to help the CO.LAB, host for the “Gig Tank,” be the best accelerator in the country. “One (survey will go) to the investors who attended ‘Demo Day,’ and the other to the Gig Tankers,” Huang said.
The launch of the surveys for CO.LAB comes on the heels of what Huang described as Survature’s “soft launch” that just occurred. The product is ready, and the “soft launch” is targeted to prospective customers.
Huang said a number of individuals received “invitation codes” that will allow them to access the demo site. Those who did not receive the code initially, but are interested in previewing the product, should go to http://survature.com/ and click on the “Discover what matters to your customers” section to request limited access to the beta site.
We also asked Huang how he viewed the state of Survature after six months. His response was typical of many entrepreneurs.
“We are doing well technologically, but we need money for marketing,” he said.
As the company rolls out its new product and seeks funding, it is not leaving any stone unturned. Huang says Survature applied to be part of LaunchTN’s “The TENN” program and has been chosen as one of the 20 start-ups to pitch at the first-ever statewide demo day next week in Nashville.
