Street Jelly competing in Chase Bank’s “Mission Main Street” program

Street JellyStreet Jelly’s Frank Podlaha has entered Chase Bank’s “Mission Main Street” grant program.

The Knoxville-based start-up, first profiled on teknovation.biz in January, is competing to be one of 20 small businesses to receive $150,000 each from the $3 million pool. All entrants have until this Friday (October 17) to secure a minimum of 250 votes to move on to the next step – a panel review process. By Sunday night, Street Jelly had exceeded the minimum, but one never knows the impact of more votes.

The 20 grants will be awarded in January.
