Memphis’ entrepreneurial ecosystem vibrant and growing

MemphisThere’s clearly a buzz in the Memphis entrepreneurial ecosystem, based on conversations we’ve had with several people involved in a number of the initiatives and articles that we have seen in various publications. Here are three good examples, two related to Start Co.

  • EPIcenter, the Memphis organization charged with creating 1,000 new entrepreneurs and 500 new start-ups over the next decade, has found its top leader in Michigan. Leslie Lynn Smith, who is a past President and Chief Executive Officer of TechTown Detroit, will lead EPIcenter and will also join Memphis Bioworks Foundation as a Vice President.
