Eight Southern universities in Reuters’ list of top 100 innovators
Reuters has ranked the top 100 most innovative universities in the world, and nearly one-half – 46 to be exact – are in the U.S. If you don’t count Texas as part of the South, our region has eight of the top 100. They are as follows:
- #14 – Duke
- #20 – Vanderbilt
- #24 – Georgia Tech
- #36 – University of North Carolina System
- #56 – Emory
- #62 – State University System of Florida
- #84 – University of Alabama System
- #100 – University of Virginia
