Smith new TTDC Interim President and CEO
Brad Smith, former Chief of Staff for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (ECD), steps into the role today as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the Tennessee Technology Development Corporation (TTDC).
Smith’s last day at ECD was Thursday as was Leslie Wisner-Lynch’s last day at TTDC. She had agreed to serve for about six months and ended-up serving for 22 months. Smith expects to serve a few months while the search for a permanent CEO is finalized.
During a recent conference call of the TTDC Executive Committee, the group praised Wisner-Lynch for her extraordinary service and personal sacrifices to serve such an extended temporary period.
Will Alexander, former ECD Assistant Commissioner, is the new departmental Chief of Staff.
