PYA hosting 2018 year-end tax planning session on December 6

Been thinking about your 2018 taxe obligations.

It has been almost a year since the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” was signed into law. To aid with end-of-year planning, the tax team at PYA, the power behind teknovation.biz, is holding a “Tax Reform Planning Discussion” for individuals and businesses to learn what can be done by year-end to help the 2018 tax result.

PYA Senior Managers and licensed CPAs Heather Martin and Mark Brumbelow will each lead discussions at the December 6 event that runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at Cherokee Mills on Sutherland Avenue. Martin will summarize how individuals can prepare for year-end, discussing changes in the tax rates, planning techniques regarding charitable contributions, and updates on other deduction items. Brumbelow will outline planning techniques for businesses, as well as offer insight on pass-through deductions and depreciation changes.
