Peach State launches new non-profit named Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance
The Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA) officially launched last week as a non-profit designed to serve the state by establishing a better model for creating, protecting and enabling intellectual property (IP). The coalition of education institutions, research labs, innovation-focused organizations, companies ranging from Fortune 500s to start-ups, and other creators of IP will focus on accelerating the market launch of ideas that serve the common good, while specializing in protecting patents, copyrights, trademarks ,and trade secrets.
