Pass It Down to power Lake Forest-Lake Bluff, IL Historical Society

Pass It Down, the Chattanooga-based start-up with a novel story-telling platform, is partnering with Engine On and the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff, IL Historical Society to revolutionize how museums archive and share local and national history.

According to last week’s announcement (click here), the Pass It Down platform technology will provide Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society with the necessary tools to take an innovative step in the process of recording their community’s collective history when it is implemented October 7.

“The idea that your audience can contribute value to the narrative is critical to the future of museums,” says Carol Summerfield, Co-Founder of Engine On. “It adds breadth, it adds depth, it adds new voices; voices that might have been missing in previous iterations of museum content.”

Last month, we posted this article that Pass It Down is a finalist for national recognition and the title of the 6th Annual “Startup of the Year.”
