The National Graphene Association is accepting applications from companies interested in pitching at its upcoming “Global Graphene Expo & Conference set for October 15-17 at the AT&T  Center in Austin. The inaugural event was held last year in Nashville. The competitions are as follows:

  • The Product ShowCase is a five-minute pitch opportunity intended for companies, individuals or academic labs with a graphene-based product or prototype (such as a battery, medical device, sensor, apparel, coating etc.) that they want to showcase to the entire audience of current and future graphene stakeholders — graphene companies, developers and suppliers, investors, venture capitalists, government agencies and research and academic labs.
  • The Idea ShowCase is also a five-minute pitch opportunity designed for companies or individuals at the “idea stage” who want to incorporate graphene in an either already existing product or in an entirely novel structure.
