NextFarm to hold “Demo Day” on February 6
NextFarm, the state’s agricultural accelerator, is holding its first-ever “Demo Day” on February 6 in Union City, TN. The event will feature six start-ups that are part of NextFarm’s first cohort.
“Demo Day” runs from 3 to 5 p.m. at Discovery Park of America in Union City. Speakers include Jim Budzynski, Partner in Open Prairie Ventures; Jim Rippy, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Discovery Park of America; Jai Templeton, Deputy Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture; and Charlie Brock, CEO of Launch Tennessee.
NextFarm is a joint program of the Northwest Tennessee Entrepreneur Center, Memphis BioWorks Foundation, and Ag Innovation Development Group.
