Nanomechanics receives another SBA award
We recently noted that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has recognized Oak Ridge-based Nanomechanics with its “Tennessee 2015 Small Business Exporter of the Year” award.
Now, the company has received another recognition from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at Roane State Community College. This one is the “Tennessee 2015 Rising Star Award.”
“We were surprised and pleased that Nanomechanics was been recognized by Tennessee’s Small Business Development Center,” said John Swindeman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nanomechanics. “We have enjoyed working with Jutta Bangs and TSBDC as we have grown our business, and found the services offered by TSBDC to be very helpful.”
Nanomechanics was also recognized in 2014 by the U.S. Department of Commerce, SBA’s parent organization, with an “Export Achievement Award.”
