Morristown, Chattanooga part of new national gigabit initiative
Nearby Morristown is one of four Tennessee cities that have joined the Next Century Cities organization. Also participating is Chattanooga, Tennessee’s “Gig City.”
According to its webpage, Next Century Cities “supports community leaders across the country as they seek to ensure that all have access to fast, affordable, and reliable Internet.” The effort was launched last week to connect communities throughout the country in supporting efforts for gigabit Internet
