LifeSciTN hosting first “Ask the Expert” panel on June 8

The Life Science Tennessee “Statewide Mentor Network,” underwritten by Launch Tennessee, will hold the first of its planned series of “Ask the Experts” with a two-hour panel session on June 8. The event is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP, 511 Union Street, Suite 2700, in Nashville.

Topic for the inaugural session is “Academic Partners, IP, and Regulatory Hurdles for Life Science Start-ups.”

Panelists include Jim Monsor, former head of operations for Biomimetic Therapeutics and Director of the new Life Science Tennessee Network; Ken Holroyd, Medical Director for the Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization at Vanderbilt University; and Eric Fugett, an Associate at Waller.
