“HoloLens Hackathon” set for Cookeville in late April

HoloLens“We are happy to report that we have received the first wave of shipment for the Microsoft HoloLens,” The Biz Foundry’s Jeff Brown reports. For those who know the effervescent Brown, you can only imagine what he has planned.

The Upper Cumberland business accelerator will hold a “HoloLens Hackathon” April 23 and 24 at its offices on 170 West 7th Street in Cookeville. The event runs from 9 a.m. on Saturday until 3 p.m. on Sunday. The promotional flyer (Biz- Holo Hackathon) simply states: “Let’s see what applications we can develop with our Microsoft HoloLens and your ideas and programming skills.”

As described on the Microsoft webpage, the Hololens is the “first fully untethered, holographic computer, enabling you to interact with high-definition holograms in your world.”

Brown says a $25 registration fee will be charged to cover lunches and dinner on Saturday.
