EPRI receives $6 million under latest DOE solar energy grants program
The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), based in Knoxville, was one of the recipients of $53 million in federal grants recently awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) under its solar energy initiative. In the case of EPRI, the organization was awarded $6 million under the workforce category for a project titled “Grid Ready Energy Analytics Training with Data.” The award was one of seven in that category.
