Energy focus of first “Venture Match” program next week
LaunchTN’s four-part “Venture Match” series kicks-off next week with a morning session focused on energy.
The event begins at 7:30 a.m. June 26 at Tech 20/20 in Oak Ridge’s Commerce Park. It will include several presentations as well as the opportunity to network with researchers, investors and entrepreneurs.
The series is sponsored by Bass, Berry & Sims. There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is encouraged. To do so, email either Jill Van Beke at jill@launchtn.org or Linda Nyholm at lnyholm@tech2020.org.
The series will continue for the next three months with a different topic each time. Dates, topics and locations are:
- July 24 – Materials science at 7:30 a.m. at the new Knoxville Entrepreneur Center on Market Square in downtown Knoxville.
- August 28 – Agriculture at 7:30 a.m. at the University of Tennessee (UT) Business Incubator behind the UT College of Veterinary Medicine.
- September 25 – Software at 5 p.m. at the Mill Room in Cherokee Mills, 2220 Sutherland Avenue.
