DOE announces new ARPA-E competition
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for its Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy program, more commonly known as ARPA-E. In the announcement, DOE said it will commit up to $125 million for its 2015 OPEN competition to support R&D projects on potentially disruptive new energy technologies. The deadline to submit concept papers is February 27; the deadline for submission of full applications has not been set.
